Thank you, Claire! I thought this one might be a bit niche, but the book left such an imprint on me, I really wanted to write about it. Oh yes, I got a part-time job there while I was doing a Masters and stayed for 4 years I think, before I came up to York. I look back now with very fond memories and grateful for the experience and opportunity to meet some fascinating people.

I secretly wanted to work at Vogue magazine right out of college and kept an unwieldy collection of the magazine from '89 till maybe ten years ago...
